[TUTORIAL] Downgrade Lenovo A6000 from Lollipop to Kitkat

DroidDosh.com - Since the Lollipop update for smartphone Lenovo A6000 released, many users have complained about the performance of the devices often lag and they want to revert back to kitkat from lollipop on Lenovo A6000. So in this tutorial I will guide you to do it very easy and so simple.

You may even get a dead SD card which might not work or you can leave your device in a dead state. Pre-Requisites Before Downgrade

  1. Download Stock ROM Lenovo A6000 Kitkat s040 here
  2. Backup of your personal data
  3. Make sure the battery capacity of more than 50%
  4. Your device running Android Lollipop (s052, s054, or s056)
  5. Make sure your device installed original Stock Recovery
  6. Your device never rooted


Process Downgrade Lenovo A6000

After successfully downloading the Stock ROM Kitkat s040, connect your device to your computer through USB cable and transfer Stock ROM file to SD card on the root folder.

Now reboot your device into recovery mode by hold down volume up, volume down, and power button together. On the screen menu, choose wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition and select apply update from sd card then navigate to the Stock Rom file that have been downloaded. Hit enter by press power button to start process downgrade. Wait until process downgrade finished. Good luck.
